i am thinking of getting the Creative Habit book. I have an excerpt of it from a press clipping, which i have pasted onto the wall of my office right next to the lighting switch. so that i could remind myself daily the importance of the creative instinct.

		<description>you would be surprised what journaling every day can do for you. i know i was surprised. i haven't missed a day since i started, and i have dozens of half-filled journals hanging around. it's good discipline, and one worth cultivating. 



i loved your metaphor of the crock pot. it felt very familiar.
