Go to Journalscape's home page and you can set it up in about two minutes. I think it has the best and easiest interface, and some really nice features (subscription is one). Blogger is also pretty easy; I have some friends there.

Oh, RLP is in a whole 'nother category. It is hard to find time, but I like blogging because I wouldn't do *any* writing if I didn't have the blog to kind of nudge me to do it. It's a fun outlet.

My own blog? I have been talking about that for a while haven't I? How do you do it? I sometimes think that you and RealLivePreacher must both have alter egos. How can you both pastor congregations, have a life, and blog?

I still want to do it and hopefully will. I've done some practice entries, trying to find my voice.

But right now either the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus or(newsflash) John are taking up most of my spare time.

Mamala, I missed doing the Oscar email last year, but it truly requires three things: that I see most of the nominated films, that I study up on the short subjects, etc. and that I take about 8 hours to craft that email. So far, that's just not looking possible between now and the 27th. I will say that "Hotel Rwanda" and "Finding Neverland" to me were far more rewarding film experiences than "The Aviator," which though very well made and well acted is just too much of a "movie." I haven't seen "Ray." I loved "Being Julia" and found "Kinsey" rather clinical, but interesting nonetheless, with great performances.

Congrats! The first of many, I am sure.

And I'll try to use my "influence" on Oprah.

The book isn't coming out until the fall (or later--seems like the publishing industry can be slower than church sometimes!). And they're still working out the title. But I'll let you know for sure!

Congratulations!!! What's the title of the book to be--so we can seek it out? I'll get my copy signed in May??

I'm also jealous that you count as young.

Two copies of the book isn't bad payment. My sister once submitted a chapter to a book and received a copy of it when it came out---and a bill 2 weeks later for the book!!!

Impressive! Congratulations! All publishing is big-time, especially if it is in an actual bound book, manufactured somewhere other than Kinko's. How about saving copy number 2 to be placed in your presidential library at some future time?

That sounds wonderful!

(I just realized I'm not young anymore. Ouch.)

I will look forward to acquiring my own copy when it comes out. Congratulations!
