I love Doofus Archie (the cat) who lets Katie "hold him, and pet him and name him George" even though he REALLY wants to run far, far away.

I love Evil Steve (the other cat) who takes up more than twice her body size in space at the foot of the bed, refusing to relinquish even an inch while I try to manuever my legs to restore blood flow without kicking husband out of bed.

The fresh greenery we put up in the sanctuary today, especially the white lights wrapped around the evergreen roping. I love the white lights.

I also love that I recently got an e-mail from a woman in Great Britain who has my exact same name--first, middle and last (my birth name). And my name is VERY unusual.

I've found her before as well, through self-googling.

We have a rite in our prayer book for Thanksgiving for the Birth or Adoption of a child. When we adopted our first child we did this during a Sunday service and the Magnificat was chanted by the entire congregation.....I wept with joy as my soul's new knowledge of the depth of parental love rejoiced. I love the Magnificat and use it often as a meditation for grace when parenting.

Little girls in ponytails chasing a soccer ball and laughing and running like girls have always been doing this on soccer fields.

Warm chocolate chocolate chip muffins.

People and calls to ministry that click together.

Jack Murtha telling us the troops need to come home.

The fact that your C. called Rudolph Budoe.
