from the RevGals:

  1. Sleep. All varieties, especially:
    crawling into bed after an all-nighter, knowing you can sleep as long as you want because you’ve earned it;
    getting up for breakfast, then feeling lazy and going right back to bed;
    flannel sheets on a cold night;
    and napping in a big cushiony chair with a baby on your chest.
    Sleep is in my top 5 favorite leisure activities. No joke.
  2. Spa pedicures. The warm water and bubbles, the paraffin wrap, and sassy toenail polish.
  3. Sweets. Here are just a few of my favorites:
    maple frosted donuts (thanks for the reminder mibi);
    Dove milk chocolate and/or white chocolate—no dark chocolate for me… health benefits? no thanks, give me the creamy stuff;
    and I’m sheepish to admit it, but I have been known to eat canned icing by the spoonful.
  4. Browsing through the drug store. It’s just the right size so as not to get overwhelmed, and what a blessed assortment of cheap and random useful and useless crap all in one place. The adult contemporary muzak is integral to the gestalt of the experience.
  5. Traveling. It doesn’t even matter where.

What are yours?

    I posted mine on my site, but your mention of canned icing (Yum, by the way!) made me think of the time I ate a can of cherry pie filling. I had to go to the store and get another one for the pie. Good times…..

    Sue, even though I’m not a fan of cherry–you’re my kind of gal.
