This is one of mine:

Inspired by the various summer films currently in the theaters or soon to be released.

Here’s your large popcorn and blue raspberry Icee–would you like Raisinets or Goobers with that? Silence those cell phones please, the show’s about to start:

1. If you were a mutant, what ability would you like to have? (think superpower)
I think telekinesis and/or teleportation would have both fun and practical applications.

2. Tell us about a memorable road trip you’ve experienced.
A bunch of friends from college went from Houston to Shenandoah National Park about 10 years ago. Memorable is definitely the right word. God bless Casey Jones Village and the HoJo!

Although I didn’t participate in this one, my dad did a motorcycle ride around the perimeter of Texas. I can’t remember how many miles that is, but I want to say a few thousand, easy. I thought that was pretty awesome.

3. Do you enjoy solving riddles and working on puzzles? If so, what kinds?
Y’know, I’m not a big fan of such things. We did put together a 3D Notre Dame Cathedral that I got pretty into. I enjoyed it because we could be leisurely about it–we had a place for the pieces to be all laid out for a few months, which is about how long it took.

I have also resisted the Sudoku craze.

4. Take two of your phobias and combine them to make a campy horror/disaster flick. What would it be called?
Attack of the High-Altitude Cockroaches

5. Just how batsh*t crazy is Tom Cruise, anyway?
It cannot be measured with existing technology.

Bonus: Name each of the five movies that inspired these questions.
X-Men: The Last Stand, Cars (Pixar), Da Vinci Code, Snakes on a Plane!, Mission Impossible 3

Ooh, I’ve been reading the responses and I forgot about the RV movie with Robin Williams. That would work for #2 as well.

  2. 2 Mamala

    1. If you were a mutant, what ability would you like to have? (think superpower)

To be able to zap someone and they would be free of any disease they may have

    2. Tell us about a memorable road trip you’ve experienced.

Going back to Kansas the last time with my sister, mother and 2 brothers (I only wish Daddy had come along too, and played the baseball game on the radio the whole way…)

    3. Do you enjoy solving riddles and working on puzzles? If so, what kinds?

I’m hooked on Sudoku…thought I better start working puzzles as they say it challenges that part of the brain that wards of senility

    4. Take two of your phobias and combine them to make a campy horror/disaster flick. What would it be called?

Girl Interrupted, Lost Control and Died Alone

    5. Just how batsh*t crazy is Tom Cruise, anyway?

For Suri’s sake, I’m going to say (wish) not so much… it was all a publicity stunt.

  3. 3 spookyrach

I have surrendered to Sudoku. sigh…
