Wow, you’re up early for a Saturday, RM!
Yes I am, Contrived Writing Device. I’ve been up since 4:45, in fact. That’s after being up from about midnight to 1 a.m. A new low in the reverendhousehold these days.
Wow! What’s the little angel up to now?
Let’s see, shrieking, whining, flailing, squirming and pursing lips to avoid any medication whatsoever, not that it does much good anyway.
It’s a good thing she’s cute.
Oh, they’re such gifts from God, aren’t they?
[Glowering at CWD]
Ahem, [cough] so, what’re you going to do?
I’m going to take her to the doctor this morning for walk-in hours, “just to rule anything out,” at which point they will chuckle patronizingly at me.
How’s R doing with this?
Everyday he predicts that we’ve seen the worst of it. He’s a pathological optimist.
Well, at least you’ll you have vacation to look forward to!
You mean the vacation where we’re staying in a charming *little* cottage with seven other members of R’s family and a teething baby that’s up to party at 4:45?
C’mon, you’ve gotta give me something!
It’s a good thing you’re cute.

» I have been remiss in posting SBJ’s latest stats: 23 pounds and 27 inches at six months. Yes, I’ve got the big mama biceps.
» Aaaaaand little she-who-is lost another tooth this week!
» SBJ is four months old, 19 pounds 5 ounces, and 26 inches tall. GIGANTOR!

I’m convinced that God made it so that our kids would look like us or our spouse our our aunt Millie SPECIFICALLY so that we wouldn’t throw them in the lake at times like this.
I don’t know how people with adopted children manage it, truly I don’t.
Oh I am so sorry for all of you. She must be miserable.
I took Bebo to the Dr once because he had a horrible ear infection. Both ears were bright red and he constantly pulled at them like he wanted to pull them off.
You guessed it….the Dr laughed at me and told me that they were bright red because Bebo had just *discovered* his ears. Your smart to rule things out.
Frozen washclothes to chew on helped but that was a million years ago.
Yeah, I know. Butchie’s got four molars coming in at the same time.
Never thought of frozen washcloths…
re the cottage … seems like you should draw up a night time rosta for the family
Hope it’s over soon …
R’s family is very understanding, many a baby has cried in that cottage at all hours and we have all been there! Miss M will be wonderful no matter how she behaves!! hang in there!
