		<description>so funny that you mentioned mary oliver's handbook. i've been on a mary olive marathon of late---having read 2 books of her poetry and the handbook in the last 10 days, with one more waiting on my bedside table (though i'm detouring through claudia emerson for a few days now). not a bad place to make a rut!

i love the way mary oliver makes nature come to life!



maybe i'll try her recommendation of imitating.
