My "mamala" picked me up at airport too and helpfully shared that I appeared to be dead. It is truly a form of hell - and I'm so sorry. Here's to new life in the new year. Happy 2007. Update: the food poisoning is, in fact, most likely a very disgusting virus that has been going around Corny State for most of the fall. Down side: that means the non-afflicted person could still potentially get it. Pray that s/he does not; s/he has been washing hands with the fervor of a surgeon.
