Published by reverendmother 1 year, 5 months agoMy love for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack topples into pure irrationality. Ewan McGregor’s voice is so gee-whiz earnest it HURTS!

» I have been remiss in posting SBJ’s latest stats: 23 pounds and 27 inches at six months. Yes, I’ve got the big mama biceps.
» Aaaaaand little she-who-is lost another tooth this week!
» SBJ is four months old, 19 pounds 5 ounces, and 26 inches tall. GIGANTOR!

I probably could enjoy the soundtrack if I never, ever, have to watch the movie again. I agree about McGregor’s voice; I actually like how he sings “Your Song”.
This is a good one. But you should absolutely combine it with a healthy dose of the Desperado Soundtrack, which features Antonio Bnaderas’ killer voice.
I love that movie, and Ewan’s voice. Kidman’s voice–not so much
mmmm, ewan mcgregor……
maybe he’ll deliver my sermon in a singing telegram?
Couldn’t handle the movie–except for the ROXANNE sequence, which I thought was brilliant.
You must’ve gotten pretty deep into the movie to see that scene!
It’s a musical. I make them. I got all the way through DANCER IN THE DARK, too.
Would you believe they showed that on a flight I was on one time?
Didn’t have the earphones in, but damn. NO desire to see that, with or without sound.
