- Just said goodbye to Gmommy and Grandpa D, who visited over the weekend. We had a nice time—went to Suburban Lake Park for a picnic yesterday afternoon. Light breeze, lots of barefoot people. Today we went to the zoo. (Don’t tell the church… er, it was comp time.)
- It was a busy weekend for me aside from their visit—preaching, plus healing service last night.
- I may actually have NO meetings this week. Could it be possible?
- Fun writing class yesterday. We wrote on the prompt “Something That Scares You,” which was a topic I’ve done in a class elsewhere. I encouraged people to be as specific and detailed as possible. Afterward I asked the question, “Does it feel more real and scary seeing it on paper, or does it reduce the anxiety to name it?” Interesting discussion and range of responses.
- Just got an e-mail: “Can you meet Sunday evening with the seniors who are preaching on youth Sunday?” So much for NO meetings.
- That’s all she wrote, for the moment.

Meetings suck.
Have a nice stress free week.
So I am reading back through this blog, and remembering that we found out I was pregnant with J the Friday before this weekend visit.
An important piece of history!
