sunday night dots at reverendmother

My carrots are growing! Well, the tops are.
I met with three youth this evening who are preaching for youth Sunday. That was really enjoyable. Can I do more of that and less admin, please?
Mamala spent the night here Friday night, then the girls slept at her house Saturday night. This time M didn’t wake up in the middle of the night, but she was apparently up for good at 5. C at 6. They were both pretty fragile today, but otherwise none the worse for wear. Canine tooth #3 is coming in with a vengeance. Make it stop!
M’s penchant for early-morning wakeups when not in her own bed is making us almost dread our upcoming trip to Lone Star State and Hill Country Retreat Center. But we will soldier on.
We saw Spiderman 3 last night. I thought it was most enjoyable. Formulaic in parts, but I liked the emphasis on character. And I’m happy to report, though the theater was full, there was very little talking, and no obnoxious text-messaging that I could see.
C got her hair cut yesterday. It’s a chin-length bob; she’s had it before. SO cute. She seems to really like it too. And I got mine cut at the same time, so she even managed it without mommy hovering nearby. Relief. She has had an irrational fear of haircuts in the past.
That’s all she wrote! I may go back to my Monday Internet fast tomorrow. See you on the flip side.
