(First, why do they call it that?)

In the car today:

RM: C, we found out today… we’re pretty sure you’re going to have a little brother.
C: Woo-hoo! I knew it! I’m so excited!

Later: I had to press on the brakes a little forcefully.

C: Mommy, you stopped so fast that the seatbelt crushed all my eggs.
[discussion about how her eggs are well protected, and very small, and don’t have hard shells like chicken eggs]

Hee hee…

Oh! I love the things she thinks and says and questions.

OK, my daughter’s recent episode with the “birds and bees” involved, of all things… mice. She wanted to know if mice get married. And if mice don’t get married, how they have babies….

    fun times….

    I love this kid.
Changing that first diaper on #3 is going to be a bit of a shocker. I literally gasped when I performed this little task on ours and then remembered that girls don’t have penises (and are so very happy about that.)
