Because after that I am going to bed…

  • I finished the sermon for Sunday. Now we’re working on getting the clip I need from Sorcerer’s Stone put on my laptop. Having an in-house computer guy is so handy, though right about now I think he’s wishing he were a shoe salesman or something.
  • I am SO ready to go to Scotland. I mean, except for all the details.
  • Teri, from several threads ago—I will actually be at the young clergywomen’s thing, though I am commuting. Looking forward to seeing you!
  • Today was M’s last day with her current day-care provider. C’s provider can now take M because she’s 18 months. So the girls will be in the same place, half a block away. Simplicity… It will be a little cheaper and a lot more convenient (the hours are better too), but it’s hard to say goodbye. M really enjoyed going there, and now the girls will have to deal with sibling stuff during the day in addition to nighttime. They will have two weeks there together before we leave for Scotland. I think it will be OK, since M has been to L’s house a lot for visits and pickup and whatnot.

Eh, that’s about it.

The great joy of my life, or at least one of the top joys, was the “sibling stuff”…make it so with TDMM and SWI (the divine miss m and she who is).

My two kids started getting along much better and actually now have a “relationship” after a summer in which they had the same child care provider. They are farther apart in age, different sexes and they were older that yours are now…but it was amazing that at the end of the summer They. Liked. Each. Other.

My wise friend told me, “Well, duh Sherry….it is the first time they have been together that they weren’t competing for your attention”

    I coulda had a V-8
