   What if the bald eagle had a cross around it’s neck? Or it was perched on the arm of Jesus?

   Been in any “Christian” bookstores lately? Some of ‘em have instituted home/office decor lines. You can’t buy anything thing that DOESN’T have an eagle on it. Usually with a flag stuck in it’s little bird feet. And a bible verse printed on the side.

   People who merely try to live like Christ need to find another name for themselves. “Christians” is taken.

   WWCS? What Would Calvin Say?

   I wondered into a Lifeways Bookstore yesterday and, I’ve got to tell you, as much as I think he was a stick in the mud who ended up a total hypocrite on church/state issues, Calvin’s admonitions against “religious” imagery was echoing in my brain.

   Here’s a catty question….Just because we’re Christians, do we have to have bad taste as well as idolatry in our decor selections?
