Item #1: Why typography matters

A bumper sticker:

Jesus Died for Me
and you

————————————–

Item #2: Stuck?
I haven’t written anything but random blogs for quite a long time. Is it the spiffy Moleskine that I’m too fussy about messing up? The fact that I’ve written 100 poems (according to my archives) and that milestone is psyching me out? Or is it just one of those things.

I’m voting for just one of those things.

Item #3: Poke!
Facebook threatens to be an amazing time-suck. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from e-mail.

————————————–

Item #4: Poke, part II
The question I recently posed on Facebook… because others should have the chance to weigh in:
Would you rather be wrong, or boring?

Hey Ash, I saw that you’re in the market for a Sleeping Beauty costume too… is it bad of me to hope little she changes her mind?

    I’d much rather be wrong.

And my daughter’s Tink this year. Ariel last year. There’s no fighting that damn dynamic Disney’s princess power.

Does it really matter what I’d rather?

    Sometimes boring would be nice.

    I would rather be wrong.

Some of the FB folks are bringing up good points about the potential for harm when a person in authority is wrong. But I think that something that is thought-provoking (interesting) yet off-base has tremendous potential to get people thinking and growing. Plus there are so many times when there is no clear right or wrong anyway.

Here is a link about Rowling talking about the Christian themes in HP if you are interested:
