Don't blame ya' for holding off on the turkey. Can't be too safe with the foul these days.
Heh-we ended up having ham for Thanksgiving. Long story...indeed, "all's well the ends well."

well, that makes sense (both the raking/blowing and the bunny-like proliferation of to-do list).

Raking/blowing them into the woodsy part of our yard. And I need to cross that off too.

'Course, there's a bunch of new stuff to add...

I just absolutely love her spirit! And C's quiet, assuredness that is resolute and gives M the courage to charge ahead, knowing C's always there for her. I see Jill and Sherry in the two of them.

I'm so glad you had time to do the things that maybe will make life less stressful when BB arrives. Wow, I can't believe that time is almost here! I can't wait to meet him.

The girls were great except for a little stressful time this morning when their "no's!" coincided and I had maxed out on patience. It reminded me of the time when I had the same kind of experience with my FL grandkids. Not fun for any of us, but then, a learning experience nonetheless.

My highlights from the last two days with them:

-C, upon hearing a particular Christmas song, saying "I love God and Jesus"
-M, while her sister rode in the double stroller the almost 5 blocks to the Metro, pulling the pink wheeled suitcase and having numerous people smile and comment on her efforts
-2 nights, although late to bed, without any middle-of-the-night "incidences" with M
-C's "big girl" help last night on the walk home from Whole Foods when M wanted to sit in the middle of Rhode Island and 15th
-Both of their direction on where and how to place the Christmas lights and the fun they had in decorating my teensy, weensy Christmas tree
-Their gentleness with Dharma and Dalai and their kisses to both, especially Dharma when I was holding her and showing them how much she loves laps...they really wanted to hear purring
-The respect they had for my neighbors and multi-family dwelling, as they used their "inside" voices and even when times were "emotional" this morning, they cried a little quieter
-Turning down the Pepperidge Farm cookies I served them...what's up with that? They were just butter cookies with chocolate in the middle? Oh well, their loss...my gain ;-)
-Loving the Reese's Peanut Butter cups I served them!
-M's "help me, Da Da"

Life is good!
