Yes it does, though at least in labor the pain comes and goes, with a break between contractions.

This is awful and I hope it comes with a good story. (I once broke my toe kicking the bathroom scales.) More a commentary on my lack of coordination than a weigh-in.
I have a mysterious owie on my left “ring” toe, so I sympathize. Hope you heal soon.
brings back a memory of going to a formal affair in a black sequin dress w/ a red leather 70’s clog protecting a broken toe on one foot and a strappy black sandle on the other foot to prove that i knew better than to wear red leather clogs to a formal affair.

What a bummer! Easy to whack your toe when you can’t see your feet anymore, right! I agree that you are allowed medicinal brandy at this point, BB’s brain is all developed, and a little relaxation may induce him to just come out and join the party. Which would be a good thing. Done, yes, time to be done!
The upside of BB delaying at least another day would be the chance to be with the Writing Revs tomorrow, Ruth! Otherwise—yes. Make It Stop.
And Jonah, that is the exact same toe that I hurt. Weird.
OK, this is definitely one of those “memories” that you will share one day with BB and smile but not.right.now. It is a “life’s not fair” moment indeed.
