Dear Big Sister M,
Thank you for the wakeup call this morning. I can think of no better way to say “Up and At ‘Em” than inhaling and exhaling into a harmonica 18 inches from the head. It’s like “Reveille” for the toddler set.
I appreciate you not wanting me to sleep the day away. Though I probably will. I’m a baby!
Your brother, J

» The latest on SBJ: at one year, he weighs 30.5 pounds (99%), is 32 inches tall (97%) and is 100% cute.
» I have been remiss in posting SBJ’s latest stats: 23 pounds and 27 inches at six months. Yes, I’ve got the big mama biceps.
» Aaaaaand little she-who-is lost another tooth this week!

Ouch…SBJ has learned sarcasm at such an early age.
I slept pretty well last night. Therefore, it was funny.
ha! How did he react?
In typical third-born boy/Matthew fashion… went with the flow.
During my first shower as a mother of three, our boys rolled newborn sister down the hall from her “boring” spot on the floor in the family room to a more interesting place in their room on the other end of the house, so she wouldn’t be lonely.
(After quick trip to pediatrician to check for brain damage) it became a fun story to remember.
So glad M is giving cute man some love.
Was she swaddled? Because swaddled babies look like burritos and are just begging to be rolled.
See, that’s why I think we had three–increased opportunity for zaniness. Since R and I aren’t naturally zany people. And yet life needs teh zany, does it not? So—going from two to three ups the zaniness quotient by 50%.
We will not be going for four since that only ups it by 33%. And diminishes with each subsequent kid.
The zaniest of my four is the fourth…just FYI…
