It’ll be rare for the next few years.

Then it will happen, for a few years.

Then it will be an everyday occurrence. (sniff.)

Hey, maybe in ten years or so I can have a noisy grandbaby at the table…once in a while.

um….8 p.m., tv tray, microwave Lean Cuisine bistro pizza, large cup of water from the Brita pitcher…watching BBC America or Bravo or Lifetime.

    Alone.

    I’ll take the noise.

(Alternative: around a candlelit table with my friends David and Craig (a sweet young couple) soft jazz playing in the background, catching up and trying a new wine from Argentina while munching on organic artichoke dip and waiting for our nouvelle Italian pasta dinners. Admittedly, this was only one night in the last 3 months…but still pretty wonderful.)
