milk9_l.jpgI’m not a big Valentine’s Day person, but R and I did have lunch together today (with a mostly cooperative SBJ). Afterwards we stopped by this place where I picked out a sampler of truffles. This place has amazing stuff, like lavender pistachio and chipotle cinnamon. In keeping with my plan to work on portion control but not to diet, I will limit myself to no more than one a day.

Today’s truffle is the Just Milk, which is pure Belgian milk chocolate. Nice snap to the outer coating, creamy center.

That’ll do.

As is our tradition, we made individual molten chocolate cakes tonight for our post-Valentine’s Day Valentine’s supper. (didn’t have time to get all valentiney yesterday) They were scrumptious.
