I’m so glad that you’ve had a good mat leave and that you feel ready to go back to work. But, honestly, I let out a big sad sigh when you said “a three month leave is a real gift.” I think it is as more of a right. And three months doesn’t seem nearly long enough.

Sorry - I really don’t mean to rain on your parade, I just wish you had better mat leave policies.

All the best to you as you transition back into work. It sounds like your household is a well-oiled machine!

The word “chervil” is not particularly appetizing as an herb, and even less so as a color, but I get the drift. Actually, I want to BE the person who makes up paint names, don’t you? Now there’s a job. Best of luck as you make this transition. Jan has some wise words up there.
