I know too many people undergoing too many "procedures" these days, and as a friend once said, there's no "minor" surgery when it's on you or someone you love. And--what I really stopped in here to say, I have to admit--I call my (no longer so) blonde daughter my (ditto) blonde sister's name all the time. Especially when my sister visits. It's unnerving how not-odd it seems to me. I’ll certainly hold Mamala in my thoughts as she goes through her surgery.
