So I went to the liquor store this afternoon.
Which always feels weird.
But I was just there to buy liqueur for chocolate truffles.
Which we are taking to a church member’s house tomorrow, despite their being very boozy*.
I bought some additional stuff while I was there.
And then went to church to preach the evening service.
…So many layers.
*the truffles, not the members

You know the joke about the difference between Presbyterians and Baptists, right ??
The Presbys say hello to each other in the liquor store !!
And I shall quietly, discreetly, (decently and in order) raise my glass to you.
also, to the above RC post, Presbyterians drink their beer on the front porch and Baptist on the back porch!
Truffles sound sinfullly delicious!
