In 2004, when he said, “We worship an awesome God in the blue states,” I said, “He’s going to be President.”

In 2008, I’ve made 250 phone calls,
knocked on 100 doors,
hand-written 60 notes to undecided voters,
entered in dozens of pages of data,
worn the heck out of my Obama t-shirts,
signed up for four hours of poll work tomorrow,
given money on numerous occasions…
and voted.

Tomorrow, something very cool’s gonna happen.

Thank you for the time you have given to Obama. It will be an amazing day. It is very powerful to think about what this will mean. Even Matthew & Rosemary have been wearing their Obama buttons to school. Yes we can! Get some rest…because I doubt we will get much sleep tomorrow night!

Makes me want to weep with joy.
TBC got home from the Manassas event at 2 am - and happily so, even for a kids who loves her sleep.

    What a day.

I am so grateful to you and all the Obama volunteers who went above and beyond the call to duty to make this a real possibility. Thank you!!

I appreciate all you have done/are doing in support of this election and candicate - it’s making a difference in VA and others like you are making a difference all over. In my little Gwinnett Co GA precinct, w/2200 registered voters, about 1100 had voted (600 early/absentee requests, about 500 in person today) by 11 AM. And I’m guessing that while my vote was in the overall minority, I’m hoping to be surprised when I see the breakdown that it’s much closer than usual!

    You definitely Baracked the vote.

    And it happened!!!!!!

At a small group this morning of mostly older people, everyone was so relieved and so happy about the outcome of the election. Did my heart good.
