I understand the tugs at the heart, and will be holding you in my thoughts and prayers as you travel and share your considerable gifts of leadership this week. The photo - priceless and grounding, a treasure to hold in your heart.

Okay...at the end of a weird week--and the beginning of a tougher one....this was just what I needed. So dear, so wonderful. What a memory to replay for them in 13 years when they rashly wish one another dead or at least long for a moment or two as an only child. Thanks!

Love, love, love the picture. Very precious.
Maybe the melancholy today was reflective of all the bittersweet memories of that first Sunday in 2003...first call, new baby and the grief of your dad.
I found myself being very melancholy for SPC (your SPC) today, on Pentecost. I giggled during worship to think of the communion table "of fire".
Have a great trip. Your sweet family will be well.
Oh...and that picture was taken parked in the church lot, wasn't it?
