Still here.

We’re getting ready to leave on Saturday for State with Rocky Coast. We haven’t been there since the divine miss M was a five-month-old teething maniac. Who insisted on getting up for the day at 4:45 a.m. In a cottage in which there was someone sleeping in every available room. Good times, that you can read about starting here.

We’re really looking forward to it. I’m re-reading all the stuff I wrote on that trip, especially this and thinking, eh, maybe I’d better bring my laptop after all……..

Had a wonderful day with M today: took her with me to writing group, where she entertained herself quite delightfully for 90+ minutes. Then we had lunch and watered the plants at the house, then went to the pool. She is great company right now.

Life is good. There are some neat things happening.

Photo is of little she-who-is on the porch of the cottage three years ago, playing with a glow stick in a thin plastic tube.

Funny, we too are heading to that same state, but not for a few more weeks. I’m looking forward to relaxing, hanging with the family and friends, and generally unwinding.

Glad the first time at the writing group with M went well. She is so precious. I hope the trip goes great. I know it will.
